Testimonials - Dr Charles Toman
My thanks to Dr Toman and his staff for the excellant care I received for a rotar cuff repair. I had gone to him originally for a second opion and chose him to be my Dr. He was kind, caring, knowledgeable and did a great job.
This year I had to make a decision to find a competent Doctor to repair my Torn Rotator Cuff. Since I retired here 15 years ago, I’ve always had problems finding competent medical help. Coming from Cleveland Ohio a location which had some of the best medical facilities in the country, I expected and was used to top quality medical treatment. I found such quality in Dr. Toman.
Dr Toman examined my left hip and determined at my age, 68, I was a candidate for a replacement. I was reluctant and he understood my reservation. He repaired, (not replaced) the joint and 3 months later it is healing nicely. Although I know I will eventually need a replacement, I am very pleased with the results.
I had been suffering from pain in my left hip for quite some time. It was time for me to obtain a formal, professional evaluation. I learned that a Dr. Toman was using a procedure which was less invassive and had patients back on their feet in half the time. I made the appointment and Dr. Toman’s diagnosis was the hip was definitely the problem. He suggested using the anterior approach.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the professional, compassionate and caring treatment that I received from Dr. Toman after an accident that I had, resulting in an injury to my shoulder.
Shoulder is coming along fine – operation and first few weeks went well, then on to physical therapy and at the end of 3 months, have almost all motion back again and in the strengthing stage now.
Dr. Toman repaired a torn meniscus in my left knee. It’s the same knee I had done about 13 years ago while living in DC. The first time I had the surgery, I was unable to walk for a week and had to have intensive physical therapy to regain muscle control.
I am 3 months out from knee surgery and doing well. Feel like I”m at 90% or better.Did a 20 mile bike ride on 4-29-12.I”m 66years young thanks to Dr.Toman and his staff.
My name is Alan Savela, and I am 70 years old. I have been having problems with both of my knees since at least 2009. In 2009 in Michigan I had arthroscopic surgery on my left knee for a torn meniscus and things settled down for awhile.
7 weeks ago I had a revised knee replacement and I feel great. I am very happy that Dr. Toman was able to take care of my problem.
